SimVault
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
SimVault is designed as a local-first, privacy-focused app for organizing SIM cards, eSIMs, and virtual phone numbers.
Information you store
You may save SIM records such as phone numbers, carrier names, regions, status, plan names, expiration dates, ICCID, IMSI, notes, groups, backup files, and related settings. This information is stored locally on your device by default.
iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud Sync, SimVault uses Apple iCloud to sync your records across devices signed in to your Apple ID. SimVault does not operate a third-party server for storing your SIM information.
Backups, import, and export
SimVault can create manual or automatic backups and can import or export data as JSON. You control where exported files are saved or shared. Treat exported files as sensitive because they may contain your SIM details.
Camera and photo permissions
SimVault may ask for camera access to scan eSIM QR codes and photo library permission to save generated eSIM QR codes or select images when a feature requires it. These permissions are used only for the requested app feature.
Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and purchases are handled through Apple App Store infrastructure and RevenueCat. These services may process purchase status, product identifiers, and subscription metadata needed to unlock SimVault Pro.
