SimVault
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service describe the basic rules for using SimVault. By installing, accessing, or using SimVault, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms govern your use of the SimVault mobile app (“SimVault,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.
You can reach us at support@simvault.app. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how SimVault handles data.
1. App Store Eligibility
You may use SimVault only if you are permitted to download, install, and use the app under the App Store age rating, Apple ID, Family Sharing, purchase requirements, and any local platform rules that apply to you.
2. Your Responsibility
SimVault helps you organize SIM cards, eSIM profiles, virtual phone numbers, plans, balances, expirations, and related notes. Your records are yours: we do not read them, track them, review them, or participate in your private data.
3. Your Content and Records
SimVault lets you save SIM records, package records, notes, backup files, exported files, and other content you create or import (“Your Content”).
- You own and control Your Content. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Your Content to us.
- Local-first operation. Your Content is stored locally by default. If you enable iCloud Sync, Apple iCloud stores and syncs it in your private iCloud database via CloudKit.
- No review, tracking, marketing, or training use. We do not read, review, track, sell, advertise against, or train machine-learning models on Your Content.
- Backups and exports. Exported and backup files live wherever you save or share them. We do not receive them unless you intentionally send them to support.
4. Data, Backups, and iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud Sync, Apple iCloud syncs records across devices signed in to your Apple ID. If you export data or create backups, those files remain under your control wherever you save them.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or interfere with the app, its security, or related services.
- Misuse purchase, entitlement, sync, backup, import, export, or support features.
- Use the app in a way that violates Apple platform rules or disrupts service for other users.
Because SimVault is a local-first app, we do not remotely suspend or terminate your use of an installed local copy. If platform, security, or operational issues arise, future updates, App Store availability, or purchase-related services may change.
6. Subscriptions and Pricing
SimVault may offer free features and optional paid SimVault Pro plans, all purchased through Apple’s App Store.
- Free tier. Some features may be available at no charge, subject to app limits shown in the app.
- Paid tier. SimVault Pro may unlock higher limits, iCloud Sync, import/export, display customization, advanced package management, or other premium features described in the app.
- Available plans. SimVault Pro may be offered as auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscriptions and/or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices, trial terms, renewal periods, and included benefits are shown before you confirm a purchase.
- Current benefits. Your purchase provides access to the paid benefits available for the plan you choose, based on the app features shown at the time of purchase and as maintained in current app versions. It does not promise that new features, higher limits, or additional services will be added in the future. We may continue to maintain the app, fix issues, improve compatibility, and refine existing features over time.
- Billing. All purchases are processed by Apple and billed to your Apple ID. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple’s rules. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings.
- Refunds. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policy.
- Changes to pricing or benefits. We may update prices, plans, or what each tier includes. If required, Apple will ask for your consent before a price increase affects an existing auto-renewing subscription.
7. Platform and Purchase Services
SimVault relies on Apple iCloud/CloudKit, Apple App Store/StoreKit, RevenueCat, and Apple platform permissions such as camera, photos, Face ID, device passcode, and notifications. SimVault does not send your private SIM records to any third-party API for requests, detection, scanning, analysis, or processing. Your use of Apple and RevenueCat services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Data Deletion and Ending Use
- You can delete local SimVault data, iCloud data, or both using available in-app data management controls.
- You can stop using SimVault at any time by uninstalling the app.
- We cannot remotely suspend or terminate your use of an installed local copy of the app. Future app updates, App Store availability, or purchase-related services may change if required for platform, security, operational, or legal reasons.
9. Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue SimVault features over time. We aim to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will work on every device, OS version, region, or carrier.
10. No Professional Advice
SimVault is an organizational tool. It does not provide telecom, legal, financial, tax, billing, travel, or security advice. Always verify important carrier, billing, account recovery, and SIM details with the relevant provider.
11. Disclaimers
SimVault is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be available or preserved. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important information.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SimVault is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss caused by device issues, iCloud availability, accidental deletion, backup choices, export handling, carrier changes, or information you choose to store. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Changes to the App or These Terms
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. When we update the Terms, we will change the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know in the app or on the website. Continuing to use SimVault after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws for the SimVault operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.
