FAQ

SIM card manager FAQ

Answers for people comparing SIM card organizer, eSIM manager, and virtual number manager apps.

What is the best way to organize multiple SIM cards on iPhone? +

SimVault gives you a dedicated SIM card manager for iPhone, so you can store physical SIM cards, eSIM profiles, virtual phone numbers, carriers, ICCID, IMSI, plan dates, notes, groups, and package details in one searchable local vault.

Can SimVault manage eSIM plans and travel eSIMs? +

Yes. SimVault works as an eSIM manager for travel, backup, and temporary eSIM profiles. You can record plan names, validity periods, data allowances, remaining data, carriers, countries, activation notes, and QR-code context.

Can one SIM card have multiple mobile plans or packages? +

Yes. One SIM can have multiple packages, each with its own billing cycle, status, validity period, price, voice minutes, SMS counts, total data, and remaining data. This is useful for prepaid SIMs, travel plans, and regional data packages.

Does SimVault store SIM information locally? +

Your SIM data is stored locally by default. If you enable iCloud Sync, records sync through Apple iCloud across your own devices. SimVault does not run a third-party server for your SIM card records.

Can I use SimVault as a virtual phone number manager? +

Yes. SimVault can organize virtual numbers used for account recovery, two-factor authentication, work accounts, testing, online services, and messaging apps even when those numbers are not tied to a physical SIM card.
